Revisiting our Māori myths and legends
Our storytelling has been exploring and revisiting our Māori myths and legends, and there has been quite some interest around our local ones! Teachers have done some great experiences based around Rongokako and Te Mata Peak with magnets, puppets and re-creating scenes. Pania of the Reef is always a favourite, too, as tamariki enjoy sharing knowledge with each other and making connections with the wider community
