The children and the teachers all had fun learning about the different cultures, learning new words and phrases, trying yummy traditional foods etc.

On Monday, we celebrated Maoritanga and the children enjoyed making poi, and performing with rakau sticks.

On Tuesday, the children made some yummy panikeke ( samoan donuts ) and we shared them with everyone!

On Wednesday, we enjoyed lots of chinese arts and crafts and learnt to count 1-10 in Mandarin.

On Thursday, a filipino group visited us and performed a traditional dance and they also made some yummy turon ( banana and jackfruit spring rolls ) with the children.

And today we enjoyed some Indian music, veggie bahji and also rangoli arts! Some children came in their traditional dresses! It was such a wonderful week!

I hope you enjoy and watch this beautiful video we created!
