Richmond Kindy Ironkids
We are lucky in Taupo to have so many wonderful events happening on our doorstep. Our current project at BestStart Richmond Kindy is learning about ‘Games, Sports and Sportsmanship’. This week the children learned about the Taupo Ironman Triathlon which usually takes place in March each year. We decided to do our very own ‘Ironkids’.
A splash through the water trough was followed by a run then a bike ride. The children cheered each other on and supported one another, they even made their own medals. What a fantastic way to learn about events in our Community, learn about sportsmanship and being fair and supportive of others. Great work Richmond Kindy Ironkids you are certainly living our centre vision to play together, stand together, learn together!
