Samoan Dress Up Day
To conclude our samoan language week celebrations, we decided to have a dress up day where all staff and children dressed up in beautiful outfits. Our lovely Mckenna performed a beautiful dance which she had been practicing at home.
We invited Emeren’s mum Louisa to perform a samoan dance. It was great to see how Louisa taught all of us the steps as well as entertain all of us with a beautiful performance. After Louisa’s performance, all our girls and boys showed interest in performing themselves to samoan songs. It was a great opportunity for all of us to embrace and celebrate the cultural diversity at our centre.
We would like to say a big thank you to Louisa for sharing her talent with us. Here are some lovely pics of our children while performing to samoan songs.
