Sand Trays
Today two very busy boys were happy exploring every inch of our sand trays.
It was so lovely to see the two children taking some quite time to explore a different way to play with the sand. This was a great way for you to be creative and make patterns in the sand and then when you want to change it just smooth the sand out and start again.
As the sand is so dry you are able to glide your fingers through with ease to create patterns which form the beginning of the writing and drawing process.
A simple activity but a fun one that can be done with a range of textures and materials added to it.
