Sandpit fun-time
This month in the Kiwi Room at BestStart Willowpark, our Curriculum Review was focused on Kirikiri/Sandplay.
This morning we set the playroom up for our tāmāriki, who love working with the sand. We had the small tank trucks out, bulldozers, diggers and loaders all nestled in our transportable sandpit placed in our inside environment.
Our Tāmāriki had fun, engaging in play, communication, turn-taking and being vocal ... Barpp Barpp.... "move over here I come."
