School Holiday Activities Week 1
Term 3 school holidays have begun and BestStart Kauri Flats is all set for the school holiday plan. Our Week 1 was full of exciting and fun-filled activities. It was good to see the children enthusiastically coming up and engaging in different activities.
Day 1 started off with Pyjama Day followed by the scavenger hunt. Day 2 was music and movement day where children showed off their awesome dance moves and beautiful singing voices. Day 3 kicked off with messy play and children explored the surroundings using their senses.
Working beside others, children learn cooperative skills too. The next day, the weather was bad but it did not stop our tamariki from having a thrilling experience of water play. There's nothing more fun than spending time splashing and frolicking in the water. Finally, Happy Friday was our Sports day. Children were given the opportunity to participate in games like a spoon race, throwing the ball in the bucket, a full race, balancing, and a jump jam. Our tamariki learned to be confident in controlling their bodies.
Summing up, week 1 activities have made our children and parents more curious about the upcoming week's activities. We all are gearing ourselves for Week 2 fun!
