Science alive!
The Prep Room tamariki enjoyed an exciting morning learning about chemical reactions through a volcano experiment. The tamariki worked with me to measure out the ingredients, we talked about how important safety was when doing science experiments. Doing science experiments nurtures intellectual curiosity in the children and leads them to ask questions about the world around them. It is also lots of fun as you can see from the photos and video! Their enjoyment and interest is obvious.
