At BestStart Peachgrove we have been exploring Sea Week and showing our aroha for all things related to the sea! Our pepi in Te Anuhe made ika artwork which we put on display and sung waiata while Te PÅ«rerehua created beautiful sea creature artwork including petipeti (jellyfish) and pufferfish. They learned about the sea God Tangaroa and how Tangaroa is the protector of all things in the sea. To finish off "Sea Week" tamariki in Te PÅ«rerehua helped take care of our centre ika and helped kaiako clean the tank. What a great opportunity to learn about hauroa and manaakitanga through the lense of moana, teaching our to support our vision "nurture the seed and it will grow
