Sensory bucket for Sea Week

Sensory bucket for Sea Week

For sea week, we are looking at pollution in our oceans by exploring a sensory bucket.

One of the Kaiako prepared a sensory bucket with blue slime, balloons, sea creature toys, sticks, bottle caps and tin foil. The tamariki got to dig through the slime, wash the object and decide whether it belongs in our oceans.

This activity is great for our sensorial experiences and we are learning about how pollution can affect our environment! And we are also using gross motor and fine motor skills to clean the objects
