Sensory delight
In the 2 year olds Paua room at BestStart Judea our tamariki have been exploring with their sense using the herbs from our beautiful garden. We collected rosemary, mint, thyme, and lavender from the garden and then our tamariki got to work to create masterpieces. Through this activity our tamariki are developing their creativity and can see beauty in the natural world. This learning experience supports children to engage socially, sharing their ideas in a group and strengthens their fine motor skills.
