Settling our pepī
In February we welcomed lots of new pepī and their whanau into our room and we have been busy settling them all in and building great whanaungatanga with each of them, so that they feel a real sense of belonging in their new preschool and our Nursery room.
During February and March our pepī have been involved and exploring in group experiences and this has included their favourite messy play and water experiences. They all love using their senses as they explore, and they are having fun playing and learning alongside each other.
We have also been supporting four of our older pepī as they get ready for their big transition at the end of March to the preschool room. They have been really enjoying their visits to the preschool room and getting to know their new kaiako and the preschool tamariki.
