Slippery sliding
The tamariki at BestStart Opihi have been enjoying lots of water play outside to keep cool on the warm sunny days we have been having lately. Today it was decided to make our slide into a water slide using the hose. The tamariki helped get a mat to put at the end of the slide before lining up and waiting for a turn to slide down the slide. There were lots of funny faces and giggles as they got sprayed by the hose as they slid down the slide. It was awesome to see the excitement on the children's faces and seeing them confident to have a go on the slide. I wonder what the next sunny day will bring for us at BestStart Opihi?
