There was a lot of excitement at BestStart MacDonald Street as we had a lovely hairdresser come in to give awesome haircuts to our tamariki.

The children enjoyed watching the process whilst waiting patiently for their turn. They all looked stunning.

Making links within our community helps children make connecting links across settings. Te Whāriki highlights the importance of community by stating that the wider world of family and community is an integral part of early childhood curriculum.
