Our tamariki have been very interested in the changing of the nursery garden, particularly all the brightly coloured leaves that have fallen with the change of season. We have spent the last few mornings collecting them all and placing them into the trough to explore. So, when we saw the huge pile of leaves in the local park on the way back from our fortnightly trip to the library, we just had to stop to explore!  Some of our tamariki enjoyed running through the pile of leaves, giggling as they heard and felt them crunch under their feet, and other tamariki were keen to collect the leaves to take back to the nursery to share with Lilly and our other friends.

Here at BestStart Fendalton we very much value getting out into the community and exploring nature, we regularly visit the library, explore Mona Vale and take walks around the block.
