Soul Food in June
On this rainy June day, the BestStart Regent Kindy whanau came together again to come up with a dish for Soulfood Whangarei.
With the food donations from our whanau: Kristine, Nana Liz, Danica, Chelsea P. and Romina such as spaghetti noodles, beef mince, and tomato sauce, we were able to come up with trays of delicious Spaghetti Bolognese for people less fortunate than ourselves.
The children put their chef hats on and helped prepare the meatballs and other assumed the role of kitchen assistants, slicing some cheese. Thank you once again, dear whanau, for your continuous support as we spread aroha to our community in simple yet heartfelt ways.
