It was a nice afternoon with great weather for our our Special Person day at BestStart South Road. Most importantly our tamariki were excited to see their most special people attend.  It also means whānau and kaiako can chat, ask questions and get to know each other a little better.

These types of occasions are meaningful for the children as they enjoy your company in their learning environment. They are also important to us as a centre. An important part of our Philosophy and one of our Priorities for Learning is Whanau Tangata.

The wider world of family and community is an integral part of the early childhood curriculum. Kaiako develop meaningful relationships with whānau and they respect their aspirations for their children, along with those of hapu, iwi and the wider community.
