Special time for Mothers
Mother's Day is a special time. It is a time for the children to spoil their mums (caregivers). They enjoy making different crafts and creations/ gifts that they can give their loved ones. This Mother's Day we thought it would be a special time for them to come gather for an afternoon. What better way than to have their own little spa day? The children got to pamper their mums for a special spa day. They came and had their nails done, had their hair done. They got to spend some time with their children and make a special cupcake. It was a great afternoon where everyone could mingle and just have a relaxed afternoon. Each room had a special activity set up. Messy play and playdough in toddlers, The hair and nails in preschool. As well as the cupcake decorating. In the nursery, we had a special photo backdrop. Everyone loved having their photo taken. We had a great turnout of caregivers, the children really enjoyed having their special visitor and being able to show them around and spend time with them in their room centre.
