At BestStart Huntington, our vision is simple but powerful: seek, discover, know, and be enlightened.

Step into our centre and you’ll see this vision come alive every day, as tamariki are given the freedom to explore the world in joyful, hands-on ways.

Recently, our toddlers dove into the rich cultures of South Africa—smelling, touching, and tasting spices that sparked wonder and conversation. Tamariki decorated their own mini drums, then gathered in a lively drum circle, connecting through rhythm and laughter.

These playful moments aren’t just for fun; they help each child embrace new experiences and build lasting friendships. Our learning spaces celebrate the unique strengths, backgrounds, and identities of every child and family.

Right now, we’re exploring “countries and cultures,” inviting children to share, ask questions, and discover how the world is both huge and close-to-home. Our kaiako come from diverse cultural backgrounds and work alongside whānau to make every day meaningful.

Diversity and inclusion aren’t just words here—they’re a way of being. We honour each child’s journey to know themselves and others, weaving belonging into everything we do. Our programme is full of colour, music, kai, languages, and ideas from all over the world.

Every day, we seek, discover, know, and become a little more enlightened—together. Come for a visit, meet our team, and see why BestStart Huntington is a place where your child’s story matters and their joy shines.
