This month in the tahi room our children have LOVED exploring messy play outside in the nice weather.  They've had the chance to explore water and a variety of slimes and foams however they want, whether this is smearing it all over there body, standing and stomping on/in it or splashing it to see what happens.  The children have been able to develop a greater understanding of the world they live in as they learn that not all liquids feel, look and react the same to each manipulation (smearing, splashing).
