This year’s Halloween celebration transformed our centre into a vibrant Halloween Disco. With costumes, dancing, themed activities, and plenty of creativity, our tamariki and whānau enjoyed a festive event that celebrated fun, imagination, and community spirit.
We had an exciting and spooky time celebrating Halloween at our centre this year with the theme “Halloween Disco.” The tamariki and kaiako came dressed in a mix of fun and spooky costumes, filling the centre with laughter, colour, and creativity.
There were witches, superheroes, ghosts, pumpkins, and even sparkly disco outfits that added extra excitement to the celebration. Everyone looked amazing, and we handed out special awards for the best costumes, recognising the effort, imagination, and creativity of our tamariki and whānau.
The highlight of the day was our Halloween Disco, where the children danced to lively music under colourful lights. The room was filled with joy as everyone showed off their best moves and enjoyed the festive energy.
Alongside the dancing, tamariki also enjoyed Halloween-themed food and treats, making the celebration extra special. We also had a temporary tattoo corner where children could choose friendly Halloween designs to decorate themselves with. It was a fun, non-scary way to add to the festive spirit.
Overall, our Halloween Disco was full of fun, laughter, creativity, and community spirit — a truly memorable celebration for everyone.
