This month we had a visit from St Johns. The programme aims to develop confident young Kiwi kids who care for the health and wellbeing of their communities. The session delivered were positive learning experiences to empower our children to prevent injuries and respond to emergencies. Our tamariki had great opportunities to get hands on with different medical equipment, learn about what the ambulance does and ask questions. Sue spent time showing us different things we might see if we ever went in an ambulance, such as oxygen tanks, different masks and listened to what it might sound like. We also had some volunteers to be dressed up, and the tamariki were up to the challenge!

We had a great morning where the learning was endless.
