Summer 2020
This month we have been extra busy during the holiday break with fun for our tamariki. We have ventured out into the community visiting our local library where our tamariki have been exploring the technology room, finding books of their interest to get out, developing and challenging their physical skills on the very adventurous playground outside the library and enjoying a picnic lunch in a shaded spot.
It doesn’t stop there this week we’ve had wheels day twice, biking over to our sister school’s bike track and once again our tamariki challenging and practising their physical abilities on the climbing wall at Kawaha Point school.
On hot summer days our tamariki have been enjoying water play with the slip and slide and picnics and water fun down at our local reserve Waiowhiro behind our childcare centre.
Over at the school field our tamariki developing their co-ordination with kicking ball skills, frisbee throwing and running races. Lots of physical active movement our tamariki have been experiencing.
What so much fun and learning our tamariki are having this summer 2020 at BestStart Kawaha Point!
