Summer Lovin!
What a fun filled day we had at Shelly Bay Road. We celebrated being all together once again after Christmas and being able to enjoy the glorious weather we have been having.
We were very spoilt with not only having a hot sunny day but to be able to provide opportunities for children to jump around under the sprinkler, make fresh lemonade, decorate a sundae and of course fish from our very own boat. The feel of summer in the air brought smiles and sounds of laughter everywhere.
The children had an amazing time and were totally immersed in their environment.The learning that took place on this special day was around Whanaungatanga building strong connections with each other in our beautiful environment. Communication, Exploration, and Belonging was evident throughout the day and brought everyone together. It was a memorable day that the children and Kaiako all cherished.
