Summer Time Fun at BestStart Tory Street
This summer at BestStart Tory Street, we had so much fun. The kaiako (teachers) provided a lot of fun learning experiences for children. We had loads of water play activities such as water slides, water pools, sprays, water toys and more.
Teachers provided children with water activities where they can explore Science, Maths and Geography. Tamariki were making canals in the sandpit, mud cakes, sand castles and rivers.
Not just playing tamariki also helped the teachers to clean the chairs and were learning about taking care of our belongings and resources as well.
On the other hand, we were exploring our artistic skills and exploring many different ways to be creative and make exquisite artwork!
We spent a lot of time spending outdoors and learning to balance, bike and scooter.
Most of the children loved water play so we have decided to do more water activities and they could still learn and explore and simply have fun!
