Within the Month of October the tamariki within our Koru room at BestStart Omahu have been working together closely to support and extend each others learning. With the warmer months here a favourite has been the water pump station. The tamariki have been showing amazing tuakana/teina learning as they work together, with the older children supporting the younger tamariki. Throughout these interactions our tamariki have been working on their communication and social skills, problem solving and turn taking abilities.  

The tamariki have shown these amazing skills throughout everyday interactions and are forming great friendships through the support and aroha they show each other.
