At BestStart Vardon Road, we kick started Samoan language week by listening to the music of a pātē (traditional percussion instrument), that filled the room with an upbeat vibe to sing and dance to. To top the week off, ngā tamariki styled their own flower crowns for their rendition of the song ‘Nofo i lalo, ua ma luelue le va’a (Sit down, you’re rocking the boat)’.
