At BestStart Māngere East, we danced our way into the holidays with a neon-themed disco to celebrate our tamariki heading off to primary school! It was a joyful afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and precious moments shared with whānau.
What an incredible way to finish Term 2! Our Te Whare Hana preschool room came alive with energy and excitement as we held a special disco party to celebrate our amazing tamariki who are about to make the big step to primary school.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with vibrant neon colours, sparkling lights, and catchy tunes that had everyone up and dancing. This event was not just for the children; it was a wonderful opportunity for our whānau to join in the fun, share some laughs, and create special memories together.
Our little stars shone bright as they dressed in their best disco outfits, with prizes awarded for the most creative and colourful costumes. Everyone enjoyed delicious snacks that kept the energy high throughout the celebration.
It was heartwarming to see the community come together, embracing the joy of movement, music, and togetherness. This disco wasn’t just a party—it was a celebration of growth, friendship, and new beginnings for our tamariki as they prepare to step into the next chapter of their learning journey.
It was also a meaningful time for our teachers at Māngere East to build stronger relationships with the new children and whānau joining us for Term 3. Here’s to a fantastic rest of the year and all the exciting adventures ahead!
