Tea Time
We created a cornered off area so that the small group of children could sit and enjoy their time in the "cafe"!
The children had the opportunity to pour their own milk and sugar while having a chat with their friends with a cuppa! The children have shown great interest in this area lately, our family corner is always packed with children enjoying the area. This area is often seen throughout the centre as the children pretend to go to the Drs, parks and cafe's.
What a great to way to extend it for them with real life experiences. This could possibly be the start of even better and bigger real life experiences for the children. We will continue to follow this particular interest and see where it leads to.
