We had a teddy bears picnic at BestStart Tawa to further extend our children's dramatic and family play. All tamariki came in on Friday with a teddy in their arms and enjoyed playing games with their teddy bears all morning and even sharing some morning tea with them. Once our morning tea mat time was over we popped all our teddy bears away in a basket for a rest after their big morning. Leading up to the big day tamariki did some baking with kaiako for a special morning tea which included mini cupcakes and biscuits. This was a fun and valauble way for our tamariki to learn and play alongside each other with their special toys from home.
