The learning continues!
We have really embraced the BestStart@Home at BestStart Lynmore, and have received very positive feedback from our parents and whanau.
One of our kaiako has started a YouTube channel to post videos to our families, and many of these link into the children's individual development plan goals, as well as reflect the philosophy of the centre. A central part of our philosophy is strengthening understanding of the three official languages of Aotearoa, and all of the videos incorporate English, Te Reo Maori and New Zealand Sign Language. The videos have combined familiar words, signs and songs, with new ones in order to effectively develop the children's language skills. Below is a small selection of them.
