Here are some snapshots of the children involved in a story session, a dramatic play, listening to, retelling, and creating their own story on the book called ‘The lion who wanted to love.’

This book conveyed a very powerful message around friendship and love and how Leo the lion helps to keep his friends safe from any harm in the jungle, this has been a part of our current planning.
It was great to see the children bringing in props for the story from their home and use them for the narration. The children also had made their animal masks to take the roles of different animals in the story. It was great to see children’s confidence to say the dialogues and do the actions as I read the story. The story enactment was a great experience in which children demonstrated great team work and conveyed Leo the lion’s message that love and friendship brings us together.
