The Pikler Triangle
The Pikler Triangle is an activity which is part of the Montessori learning method. It is great way to teach your child something new is to let them move freely and build their confidence through physical play. Children learn motor skills, challenge their body to grow, and explore that their body is capable to use the Pikler Triangle independently. It is created around the concept of free flight, and it also allows your children to learn physical boundaries. They can develop their fine motor skills by crawling, lifting themselves, and climbing while building up their reflexes and motor skills. The Pikler Triangle stimulates the growth of a child’s movement, sharpness and reaction skills!
Our tamariki love challenging themselves and taking risks while using the Pikler Triangle - our kaiako (teachers) provide a safe and supportive environment to allow children to explore the Pikler Triangle independently.
