The sensory Garden
Over the past few months Matua Rob has been working alongside Bunnings coming up with a plan to create a sensory garden for the tamariki to explore. Bunnings have kindly donated some materials to make this vision come to life.
The bright colours engage our visual sense, the freshly planted herbs engage our sense of smell and taste and the feel of the bunny ears plants engages our touch senses. The tamariki have been instrumental in supporting Matua Rob to create this garden and have been great Kaitaki (carers) of the area.
