Thinking about creativity
At BestStart Foxton Beach Kindy we love art and all that comes with it. This month we focused on different ways to explore art and creativity. Each day the teachers set up different activities to spark the children's thinking and exploration skills.
We did pendulum painting, used a drill to paint, water guns filled with paint, rock painting, melted crayon through the laminator, screen printing and much much more. After a few cool activities the children began to ask us what activity was happening that day. This started an amazing journey of the children developing their own activities, the teachers just supported and supplied the resources.
One spark can cause a massive blaze of ideas, leadership and thinking. Life long learners developing valuable skills!
