At Best Start Botany Junction learning starts with having fun and enjoying what you do. Our tamariki had been talking about what they were going to dress up as and go for trick or treating with their families. There was a lot of excitement about dressing up and pretending to be something other than themselves. 

After listening to all the lovely conversations and doing a brainstorm with the children the teachers decided to celebrate this big day at the centre. 

The teachers combined this with a fundraiser. The children helped bake lots and lots of goodies like spider cupcakes, eyeball cookies, fairy cupcakes, Dracula jaws cookies, magic portion and much more for the bake sale. 

On Halloween day It was amazing to see what our children came dressed up as and how excited they all were. Our parents were super stars who went through added effort to dress their little ones and supported and made this fundraiser a huge success.
