Trip to Inflatable World
Our nursery went on a short walk to the bus stop, we then got on a bus to Inflatable world! All the children were very excited to see everything as we walked to the bus stop. They all enjoyed riding on the bus with their kaiako. Our nursery tamariki had an amazing time jumping and bouncing on the inflatable castle. We encouraged the tamariki to climb up the big steps to the top of the slide by themselves or with a little amount of support from their kaiako. Once at the top we helped the tamariki to go down the slide all by themselves (with a kaiako at the bottom to catch them). This trip helped build the children’s confidence in their bodies and what they can do. It gave them opportunities to challenge themselves try new things and support their peers to give things a go as well. It was a great opportunity for us to explore our community and continue to develop those links between our centre and our local community.
