Tuakana Teina in action

At BestStart Roydvale, the Kakano room have been busy extending and developing our relationships and social interactions through our play. Many of our older tamariki have been helping to care for our younger pepi (babies). It has been wonderful to see tuakana teina in action as the children learn from their peers. Children have been visiting from our Mahuri Room (4 year olds) to see our pepi observing and interacting with them in their play.
