Here at Beststart Raureka we have lots of siblings, cousins and whanau friends attending. This makes for a very special learning environment and encourages and supports our tamariki to become leaders and learn to look up to and learn from those older than them.

Moments like caring for a sibling went upset of hurt or seeking support from an older sibling when they can’t put their shoes on. These moments are special moments of learning and we value here at Raureka.

Tuakana-teina relationships reflect a natural learning environment. It teaches our tamariki how to show manaaki and practice whanaungatanga values.

It always makes us very proud to see our tamariki working together and for one another.
