We participated in the National Shake Out Earthquake Drill on Thursday 17th October at 1.30pm.

Our children practiced their drop, cover hold (turtle safe) and we held for a really long time!

We then went on our tsunami drill up to the top of the hill on Tirangi Road. Our children did an amazing job walking with our walking ropes.

This is just one of the many ways we teach our children how to keep safe in an emergency - and it gives our children a safe space to learn and practice what we need to do if there is a big earthquake here in Wellington.
