BestStart Abacus attends Tūwharetoa Iwi Kapa Haka Festival

Here at BestStart Abacus we love participating in the local Tūwharetoa Iwi Kapa Haka festival. We have not been able to attend this event in a few years due to Covid-19.

We were all super excited and eager, especially for the bus ride!

They called us on stage and we bravely stood in front of a big audience in front of our whānau and friends. We performed our waiata with pride after our months of practice with our kaiako. We noticed that we were on a big TV and that microphones make your voice sound much louder!

We are so proud of each and every one of our tamariki! The kids had a blast and it was a great experience - we were happy to provide for our tamariki. Our kids worked very hard practicing over the last few months and even though we had a very young class we did really well!
