Twinkle, twinkle Matariki Star!

We had our in house musicians playing twinkle, twinkle Matariki star, children helped with the preparation of the vegetables donated by families for the friendship soup and we had sweet lemonade made from the lemons donated by parents.  

Teachers made a grotto to depict the night sky for children and parents to experience the Matariki star up-close. At the end of our celebration each family received a small packet which contained resources to make a paper star, a token of flex star and a secret seed to plant. 

It was a lovely evening had by all!
