Virtual Christmas Party
Unfortunately this year due to covid restrictions we were unable to have our annual Christmas Party. Instead, we have gathered our tamariki and whānau together for a virtual Christmas party. It was lovely to have lots of parents and whānau joining us to celebrate and good to see some children's faces we haven't seen for a while! The Children gave a performance for their friends and family and it was a hit. We were able to share with everyone what we have been doing and how we have decorated our rooms. We even had a virtual visit from Santa, who left us some presents to take home!
After our Virtual party our tamariki were treated with some gingerbread cookies and strawberry and banana Santas.
Our tamariki spent so much of their time preparing for our event. They made decorations, wrote letters to Santa, and learnt new action songs in English and Te Reo. All of these activities provided opportunities to further develop the children's early literacy and vocabulary skills.
