Visit from St Johns
We had so much fun with Sue from St. John last week. She went through what to do in an emergency and read a story about a boy who broke his arm. Then we got to try on the St. John paramedic outfit!
Wow! The children loved this opportunity to explore everything about ambulances and got to try on a bandage!
Afterwards we got to color some ambulances and talk about what we learnt. We have been revisiting the experience and the children can remember the story. Great job Tamariki! We hear lots of sirens around our centre as we are close to the southern motorway. I wonder if we can see them outside?
