BestStart Sunkist Bay Kindy had the pleasure of visiting our local Joe the Barber in Beachlands. We had a few brave boys who volunteered to get their hair cut by Joe and as we watched our friends get a haircut, we gave moral support and let them know how cool they looked afterwards.

We are currently  learning about connections with people , places and things in our community therefore it was an awesome opportunity for our tamariki to observe how Joe cuts and styles hair, the tools he uses and the amazing service he provides for our community.  

BestStart Sunkist Bay Kindy love to visit our local shops and people as it allows us to have a strong connection with our community and offers many learning opportunities for our tamariki.
