To continue to explore our current interest in the natural world, our tamariki headed out to explore the new dinosaur exhibit at Waikato Museum. We have been discovering so many different dinosaurs in our books at preschool and it was great to be able to start making the links between the learning in our classroom and the learning within our wider surroundings.
We were able to continue to build on the knowledge we had already gained and explored the features on various dinosaurs to discover a little more around how they may have lived.
We especially loved discovering the fossils in the dinosaur pit and exploring all the exciting science concepts in the excite space.
We learn so much living our vision of seekers within our surroundings.
