Visiting the Waitangi Treaty Grounds

Our tamariki from our Hei Tiki room, (4 year olds) and He Pounamu room (2-3 year olds) together with teachers, parents, caregivers and whanau took an exciting bus ride to visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds on Friday 7th June and had an amazing time.  They were welcomed on to Waitangi Marae, watched a Kapa Haka group perform, took part in activities organised by Waitangi Trust Education team, were up close to the waka, Ngatokimatawhaorua and enjoyed beautiful views of the Bay of Islands from the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.
