Water painting
The children in the Rua room at BestStart Blenheim Central have been exploring and learning about the world around them. This has been happening in a range of ways, one of these being through creative experiences.
We decided to try something a little different and experimented with water painting!
The children enjoyed creating their pictures and then watching them disappear in the sun.
Shapes, pattern, families, friends, favourite things and more were created with the water.
We even tried writing our names!
Through this experience, the children have learnt that you can use a range of tools and resources to be creative and expressive. They learnt that the water from their pictures evaporated in the sun when it got hot and they enjoyed sharing their creations with their friends and teachers.
