Talofa lava everyone.

We celebrated Samoan Language week at BestStart Avondale.

Children learnt some Samoan words, read some Samoan books, learnt numbers, colours and painted Samoan flag.

Toddlers also had lots of fun and learning  songs.  colouring in Samoan flags and looking at Samoan foods, costumes, and made floral necklaces

To mark this Language week, we had a 'Pacific Island' dress up theme.

We danced to the Samoan music, made lei and we ate cassava. It was a very busy day and we had so much fun.
