We Compost
At First Steps Grey Lynn, we have implemented a new composting system in our centre to add to our sustainability. The children are responsible for collecting the centres food scraps and taking them to the compost bin after each meal, the children love the responsibility and we have talked at great length about composting and what happens to our food scraps once they get collected. This is great for our children who are learning about the environment and ways in which we can reduce waste.
